Warranty for Drapery Concepts Orders

CURTAINS:

• Cover period is 1 year from installation for curtain manufacture, hardware and installation.
• Certain fabrics such as silk and linen (natural fibres) will naturally have movement with different humidity and temperature levels. This is not a defect and is characteristic of the fabric.

BLINDS:

• Cover period is 1 year from installation for manufacture and installation - excludes oversized blinds.

SHUTTERS:

• Cover period is 3 years on paint, construction and installation.

WHAT OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:

• Any attempts to repair, alter or adjust a Drapery Concepts product by an unauthorisied person will deem this warranty null and void. This includes painters or home renovators removing items.
• Does not cover if the product is damaged by accidents, misuse or abuse of the product.
• Exposure to the elements, natural fading or discolouration over time, installations subject to salt spray or marine influences, severe industrial or corrosive environments.
• Exposure to high humidity resulting in mould and mildew or warping of a product.
• Failure to follow instructions with respect to cleaning and/or maintenance. If unsure, client is to call Drapery Concepts for instructions.

For any other concerns, Drapery Concepts will arrange for the goods to be inspected and determine what needs to be rectified and work out an agreeable option between client and Drapery Concepts.
